M4A1 Sherman medium tank

As the most mass-produced tank in World War II, the American M4 Sherman saw action across four continents and was modified countless times to handle tasks its designers never envisioned. This 1:72 scale model captures spirit of this plucky, adaptive tank. Painted in historically accurate olive-drab greenish brown, this model is about 3 inches long and has a realistic wire radio antenna and a carefully-weathered exterior, giving it a battle-tested appearance. It’s the finest war machine in Uncle Sam’s army! Check out my review on Rifles Ready!

  • Turrent rotates
  • Cannon elevates
  • Moving vinyl treads with realistic texture
  • Includes 4 U.S. soldiers and 4 German soldiers
  • Includes sandbags, tank traps and other terrain elements for use in dioramas

Price: $25 (includes free shipping within U.S.)

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: You can click this image to greatly enlarge it. The commander figure is not removable; however there are other FoV Shermans without the figure that we will hopefully be able to offer at a later date. While the treads do move, it's not really possible to roll the tank around like a toy car; this is because the tank wheels don't move. Aside from that, this is an excellent model. The steel construction gives it considerable heft and the metal has been appropriately weathered to look pitted and battle-worthy.
